Wi-Fi faster than ethernet

My ISP is Spectrum in Los Angeles. Previously, my CBR40 worked fine, however I noticed that the speed for downloading is now at 90Mbps when connected to Ethernet and 475Mps when connected to Wi-Fi.  I tried a re-boot, a new cable and also plugging into a different port and still. have the same speed afterward. I wouldn't mind so much, but I have a switch connected and don't want to see the devices plugged in there to suffer the speed slow-down. Is there anything I can try?

Are you connecting through the switch with what device you're testing on?

Have you tried testing a different device connected directly to the router?

Thanks for the great suggestion, I tried once again with the following devices:

      • Original test - M1 Mac mini / 90/24 connected directly via 2 foot cable to CBR40. (475 via Wi-Fi)
      • 2017 15" Macbook - I had to use a USB-C dongle with an ethernet port 60/24 (165 via Wi-Fi)
      • iPad Pro - using the same dongle 95/24 (475 via Wi-Fi)
      • LG TV connected to a switch (25' ethernet cable run from the switch to the router) 52/22, (50 via Wi-Fi, same room as router)

Have you tried swapping around the ports on the cbr40?
