WiFi dropping connection

Hi, I received a brand new modem through spectrum and I am still having internet problem. Frequently watching Apple TV it pauses and has the loading symbol and when restarts show after a few minutes the picture is pixelated. I want to check Orbi for firmware updates and when I do every time on the Orbi app it FAILS to check for updates. What can I do?? Also how can I change router channels and extender channel. I cannot find where on the Orbi app. Purchased these products January 2020. Thanks in advance

  • These activities cannot be done with the Orbi "app" (and no one has any idea what possessed Netgear to design an app that cannot change many Orbi settings. truly a mystery.)

     

    Use a web browser and open http://orbilogin.net.  There are TONS of settings for things such as WiFi channels.
