WiFi dropping connection

Hi, I received a brand new modem through spectrum and I am still having internet problem. Frequently watching Apple TV it pauses and has the loading symbol and when restarts show after a few minutes the picture is pixelated. I want to check Orbi for firmware updates and when I do every time on the Orbi app it FAILS to check for updates. What can I do?? Also how can I change router channels and extender channel. I cannot find where on the Orbi app. Purchased these products January 2020. Thanks in advance

    These activities cannot be done with the Orbi "app" (and no one has any idea what possessed Netgear to design an app that cannot change many Orbi settings. truly a mystery.)

     

    Use a web browser and open http://orbilogin.net.  There are TONS of settings for things such as WiFi channels.
