WIFI Slow and Random disconnects
Hello,
Orbi is in AP mode. I changed ISP few days ago and I have problems since, i have random disconnecions and slow WIFI. I noticed that the ORBI router show a wrong DHCP server. the DHCP range from the ISP modem is 192.168.0.xxx and the modem IP address 192.168.0.1 but ORBI show DHCP Server in the old modem range ???
Is it possible to change that ? Is it possible to fix the IP address of the ORBI in AP mode ???

Hello All,
I finaly found the culprit, I have a little TP-Link configured as a client to my ORBI WIFI and guess what, the DHCP server was enabled (gasp) so sometimes my devices included ORBI router and satellite picked up an IP address from it (re-gasp) with the wrong gateway then....
So now my problems are solved
Thank you very much all for your help and especialy Case850

you don't want your dhcp to be the same as your gateway
there supposed to be diffrent
192.168.0.1 default for modems
192.168.1.1 default for internal networks
your issues are more then likely due to bad frimware that netgear has been pumping out and hopefully fixed soon
even if your router for some weird reason was calling the same ip or trying to be the same ip it would be the fault of bad firmware
