Will Orbi be WPA3 compatible?
Looking to purchase the Orbi system for my home, but wondering if it will be WPA3 compatible (when the technology is available) or will I have to buy a new system at that time? Looking at the RBK...
You may need to buy new hardware regardless if you want WPA3, as the new spec requires hardware certification. However, just speculating. No real technical details for WPA3 have been released yet, so there's no good way to know if (any) legacy hardware will be able to upgrade to WPA3 yet. It's probably just too early to tell yet how this will shake out.
