Will Orbi RBR40 work with Windstream DSL
Hi, I’m trying to find out if the orbi mini WiFi will work with windstream DSL? We are showing connected but don’t have internet access and the lights are not staying solid blue. Should we use the Et...
once orbi is fully powered on and has internet all lights will turn off. solid blue means no connection from sat to router. magenta is no internet.
yes it will work just fine with windstream. If you are using their modem you will run ethernet out of it into the internet port of the router. windstread modems usually dont have much in the way of configuration. sometimes you get lucky and have the ability to use it as a modem only bridge mode. assuming you cant do this your modem will have your login information and automatically connect to the internet. setup on the orbi you will check internet does not require login, no username or passwork and dynamic ip address from isp
the only reason you would change login type is if your modem will allow bridge mode and do require your orbi to do everything.
