Wired back haul query
I have the ac3000 with a router and 2 satellites and would like to run one of the satellites to the garden office with a cat 6 wired back haul from 5e other satellite. Can I use wired backhaul to just one of the satellites and wireless to the other? I don't think I need to change any setting other than daisy chain?

Yes, you can do this. It is not entirely clear how the "Daisy Chain" setting will affect this configuration. One of the primary consequences of enabling Daisy Chain is to activate a second 5G backhaul channel, for use between satellites. Using ethernet backhaul for a single satellite does not cause the regular 5G backhaul to be turned off (a big complaint on the forum). It remains active, "just in case" the ethernet backhaul fails. So, when that second satellite is connected over ethernet, it may (or may not) want the secondary 5G backhaul channel to be active. Fortunately, it's a simple setting so there is no harm in trying it one way first, and if that doesn't work change the setting.
