Wired backhaul disables WiFi on satellite
Hi, I have a mesh setup with RBS50 satellites; one of these is placed in a garden room and has a wired backhaul, so: RBS50 (garden room) -> wired -> RBS50 (house) -> wireless -> RBK50 router ...
Yeah I tried factory resetting it. I think I've just found the culprit - I had a GS308EP switch plugged into the satellite with the wired backhaul (as I need some PoE ports for IP cameras) and that seems to cause it to do weird things. If I remove the switch I get the wired backhaul + wifi works as expected.
I'm going to try a PoE injector instead of a switch, hopefully that will cause less of an issue but it seems like a strange problem, they're both Netgear products...
did you try rebooting or factory resetting the satellite with that issue?
Yeah I tried factory resetting it.
