Wired connection speed slower than Wifi Speed

 

 

 

I just purchased the Orbi Wifi system after having an ASUS AC5300 hoping to get better Wifi range which I did, but the problem is the wired connection download speed while performing a speedtest. I'm getting better results over Wifi than wired, why is this happening?

    Just tried again and it's working just fine, a mod can close this.

    one of 2 things could be happening

     

    ether the ethernet adapter in that device is only 100/10M or the ethernet cable is not right

     

    i assume you plan speed is 100/40M

     

    i assume you are in the states and are using the same server in NY for your tests

      I did find when I restarted my computer I got better speeds, but not exactly what I pay for.

       

      I pay for 110 down and 35 up

       

      It starts off strong then just tanks into the 30-40's
