Orbi came first. We had optimum cable intenet before with orbi. Everything connected fine, occasional internet drops with the storm which is acceptable. Changed service because monthly bill went up by 100% and they wouldn't/ didn't want to lower it. Once we installed fios, we're having these problems.

One possible difference is that a lot of "cable" system modems are "just plain modems" where the public IP address is passed through to the user's WiFi router. Fios may be more typically a "router", which gives the WiFi router a private IP address. One thing is for certain: the public IP address will change when changing ISP's.
Just to confirm:
- "Nothing changed" on the Orbi? Same WiFi name (SSID) and password as before?
- The Orbi web interface "Attached Devices" or the Orbi "app" do not show these devices as connected?
