Yet another Bricked Orbi issue
Hi all, I'm hoping you all can help me out. I'm working on a friend's RBR50 router that recently stopped working. It may have been a power surge that bricked it, but we're not sure if it was bricked ...
It sounds like dead.
My own experience with TFTP was frustrating. It appears there is a brief window of time after applying power when the router is able to accept TFTP connections. After that, it has "moved on." One time it took me 5-6 attempts to hit the "sweet spot" and see that graphic of the file being transferred.
(not that TFTP is guaranteed revive this box. But it was a lot trickier than I expected.)
