AC785S is not connecting after long layup
I have just removed my Air card from my boat which has been working there previously for TV service although not used for a long time. It has been connected to power but battery goes into power save mode. So I now have the Aircard at home as I am going to use it in France. It is not connected to any service just flashing orange and Blue with "searching" in the banner. It did connect briefly yesterday to my SIM card operator (GOMO) in Ireland but then reverted to searching. The service is fully paid up.
I have removed the battery etc. but no change.
My laptop can find the Aircard and I can connect to it but there is no wifi connection to GOMO so it does not work. So it is still alive but not connecting to any service excepy very briefly.
I am using a Macbook Pro.
I am asking for any advice on how to resolve before I go away?
Many thanks

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems
Those things are very different from the standard Netgear routers covered in this section.
You might like to search there for messages related to your problem.
I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
