AC790 impossible to recharge

I had an AC785 which, after 15 months of operation, had a break of the micro Usb connector so it could no longer be recharged. I replaced it with an AC790 which showed the same defect after 15 months. The two devices have the same type of connector. I think it's a design flaw.
