AC790S NAT Type Change on PS4
I would like to change the NAT type on my PS4 from 3 to 2 or 1. I already tried many things. Nothing worked out yet. I tried: DMZ, UPNP, port forwarding and IP-Passthrough mode.
I really need help! Any suggetions?
I figured out what the problem has been.
My provider couldn't get me an public IP adress. That's why it is not possible to change the nat type...

What kind of router are you using it in and what provider?
I get NAT Type 2 on my PS4 Pro with a 790s through either a Asus Router
or Gli Net AR300M in front of another router (Edge Router X with UPNP on and with DMZ enabled on the AR300M and IP passthrough on the 790s)
I use it as a mobile router whithout any further router. It's a mobile net provider...
Unfortunatly I havent tried it as a stand alone router, always with IP passthrough on connected to another router.
I would suggset a factory reset and try UPNP and DMZ again.
You dont happend to have two PS4's on the same network?
Another thing to note is most mobile providers dont supply a public
IP addres so you might be behind a CG-NAT (Carrier NAT) which does
block some things from working properly.
