Thanks for the update. How many years has it been down? Does that mean there is a pending update for everyone or when the server is back up will it not make any difference?

Hi All,
For AC797-100NAS, the latest release version is NTG9X40C_30.00.08.04 and PRI version 02.00.
No updated FW released recently.

I see that my hotspot is trying to pull a firmware update every 2 days (costing me 100mb a pop) and then failing after reaching 99%. My model is AC797-100NAS. My current firmware is NTG9X40C_30.00.08.04. My PRI is 01.01. I have factory restored the hotspot twice, and this firmware update simply won’t finish.
netgear - If my firmware is supposed to be current, please fix your update server so that I don’t continue to lose 100mb every 2 days. I don’t like losing 1.5 GB every month to a failed update. Additionally, I am well outside my year of support, so please don’t refer to me to your paid support. - JohnPengJul 17, 2021NETGEAR Expert
Sorry to hear about the failed update. We are release a new FW for all AC797 SKUs. But noticed the server is pretty slow. We are investigating the issue. At the same time, we will stop pushing the FW update temporarily.
