What is the current firmware version that you have? 

 

Please share the Optus website link stating that it is Category 11. We may have to verify this information.

    I don't have it yet. Are you saying it could be cat 11 depending on firmware?

      I'm in the process of buying a second hand AC800S which is listed as being Cat 9. Following on from what the original poster's was asking, is it possible to upgrade the AC800S from Cat 9 to Cat11? If it can be done, what are the steps that need to be taken?

        256-QAM support makes the difference between LTE Cat.9 and 11. Netgear engineer should be able to tell whether the software upgrade is possible.
