aircard 320 u firmware not installing
Hi,
I am on a macbook pro running 10.11.3 and am trying (without success) to get my new aircard running.
I have used the downloads at this address ... http://support.netgear.com/product/AirCard%2B320U%2B$28Telstra$29, namely the:
SierraWirelessDrivers_2.0.6 (Mac OS X 10.8.x )
B3563_Watcher_Generic.mpkg (Mac)
But when the firmware is upgrading, it just hangs. The weird thing, is that its not consistant. Sometimes it hangs at (for example) 5% in the APPL section, and other times it might get as far as 98% of the SWOC fragment.
Any thoughts greatfully received as its doing my head in.
Andrew

also ... when i launch the aircard watcher (as listed above) i get the message "Device initializing" and it just hangs there.
But, if I'm running the firmware updater and launch the watcher, i get the message "No device detected". Not sure if thats any help.

Same here on a Win10 Surface3.
Shows "preparing modem ..." and then suddenly "can't find modem". My modem doesn't connect to LTE and I'd hoped to solve it that way.
The bad thing is that you can't get hold of Netgear. You run in circles. They want a purchase date, and as soon it's older than 90 days they don't care. And on Aircard products Netgear points to Telstra and Telstra points back to Netgear. Awesome.
