AirCard 320U with Windows 10 21H2

Further update to this. This behavour seems to be happening on earlier versions of Windows (21H1) and i'm also told it was happening on Windows 7 machines (including machines that didn't used to have the issue), but I haven't confirmed this myself.
Perhaps some kind of certificate for signing of a driver is having an issue?
I now have a Diagnostic log from the Mobile Broadband Connection manager and have attached it.
