AirCard 778S tethered to sim-cardless iphone

I have an iphone 6 with no sim card and I want to tether it to an AirCard 778S. The manual says that device drivers need to be installed by clicking on the .pkg file for Mac. Does anyone know if I can connect this modem directly to an iphone using a micro-usb to usb-c cable and connect to the internet using a sim-cardless iphone relying on the hotspot for connectivity? The connection must be wired. This is for someone with electromagnetic sensitivity. Thanks

    While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.

     

    In your case, the question is "exotic" and has not much to do with the standard routers covered in this section.

    Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.

    I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
