AirCard 797

I'm considering on purchasing a Netgear AirCard AC797-100NAS hotspot but I see there are no connectors for extenral antennas from reading the manual. I just want to verify if this model hotspot will be able to connect and external antenna before I purchase one. Or does this model have enough power that it doesn't need one for most locations? Or perhaps I need to consider another model if this hotspot may not perform well in rural areas. Does anyone have a way to comapre the recptivity of these hotspots so I can make a better decision?
