Aircard 810S Firmware Update NTG9X40C_11.14.08.32
Does anybody know what kind of updates does the new (2018/01/23) AirCard 810S firmware update bring to the router? I've upgraded it via network, on router request, but... I do not like doing updates...

Hi Wuuuuuu,
We do not provide the firmware file or notes. The firmware is OTA from your device. :]

Hi Jason, are you saying that the firmware upgrades come OTA from the ISP?
Ok OTA, but I assume the firmware updates come from Netgear, not from the ISP who owns the SIM I've inserted (I'm with Vodafone, currently). So Netgear should know what a firmware update is intended to address...
As I said, I purchased my Aircard on Amazon, unlocked, so not tied to any operator. These are all the data I can read within the device info menu:
Model: Aircard 810S
FSN: 4JT163NT0069A
Firmware: NTG9X40C_11.14.08.32 (build date 2018/01/23)
Hardware revision: 1.0
PRI version: 04.00
Web App Version: AC810S-1_03.03.103.164
Thanks

Hi jlm70,
AirCard Mobile Hotspot/Router devices receive firmware updates over the air.
For generic sku (non ISP branded) devices the firmware is uploaded to the web update server and provided to customers over the air.
Some ISPs like AT&T have their own FOTA (Firmware Over the Air) servers to which they upload the firmware updates to and then the firmware and firmware notifications are pushed to customers over the air.- Jason N
