Ahhh,
The Aircard sys, ”No SIM card” or something similar.
have you tried the non-working SIM on another working device such as a cellphone? and does it work? If it does work on a cellphone, it could very well be your Aircard 810.
You also said you have put a known working SIM card in there. What happened, does it still not recognize it?

It is a known functional SIM that I have put there. Took it from another Mobile Hotspot that I have.
The response is still, type off, "No SIM-card installed."
I believe that it is the 810S and the SIM-card recognition functionality.
Have resettled the 810S. It says that it is the latest firmware.
Never heard of that the SIM-card compartment stopped working like that.

By resetted you mean full factory reset? Because that's what I suggest next. Do a full factory reset. You also mentioned it's on the latest firmware. If that fails, do a physical cleaning of the contacts of the SIM connector. Usually just 70% isopropyl alcohol and some cloth or cotton buds, just moist enough, not dripping wet. see if that helps. clean your sim card contact pads as well. if that fails still, it could be a component failure in the board, which at that point, it's beyond repair on your end. let us know how it works out. I'm hoping it's just a poor contact on the SIM tray.
