Aircard 815S - can't connect via USB to ASUS router, RT-AC68U
Hi folks, I have an AT&T/Netgeat Unite Explore 815S mobile hotspot.
I'm trying to tether it via USB to an ASUS RT-AC68U, which they are both supposed to be capable of.
But...it won't work. I've tried a bunch of setting and combinations of settings. I'm fairly proficient at network (I know enough to "get by"), but I'm lost here.
Can someone direct me to step-by-step instructions for tethering my hotspot to the ASUS router?
I'm of course asking the same question over at ASUS as well. Reason I ask here is because I'm starting to think there is something non-standard about the 815S USB output (by the way, the USB output works fine when connected directly to a computer).
I know the ASUS router "sees" the 815S, as it gets listed in the ASUS web-based interface. The problem seems to be the data itself passing thru.
Thanks so much.

I realize this was posted some time ago, but was wondering if you were able to resolve the issue. I have the same Asus router tethered to the same Netgear hotspot and have been using this configuration for a couple years now. No problem getting it to work.
I figure you have resolved this by now, but if you still need help with your issue, let me know and I will try to help.
