Thank you for your response. Assuming that this is true for both the MR6550 and the MR6150 models as they are both branded through Netgear.
I've pretty much given up on the MR6500 as this isn't a true T-Mobile compatible device since it doesn't support all of the frequency bands even in unlocked mode. I'm also very concerned about its stability issues and the lack of being able to update firmware without an AT&T active account. I'm hoping that the MR6150 is more stable than the MR6500 but waiting to see how reviews come in before I make the plunge. Spending this kind of money on a questionable product just doesn't make sense to me. Really wish Netgear would get a handle on the issues before you loose reputation.

Still looking to see if any of the MR6150 or MR6550's are having issues? Really focused on the MR6150 as the extra features of the MR6550 aren't needed in my case.
