I have both. Im really not impressed with the Mr6550 . Got it do the it supposedly having 5g carrier aggregation. At home at times the 6550 will give me a 200 mbps increase. But for most of the day it will get about the same speeds. 200 mbps download. I do tend to see a better upload seed on the 6550 which is aroun 8 to 15 as compared to 1 to 2 on the 6150. Also i tend to notice that if i drive to the tower down the road a mile away i will get 800 mbps downloads and 100 mbps uploads on the 6150 but for some reason cant figure out i only will get about 400 mbps on the 6550 and 100 to 150 mbs uploads. Ive tried chaning my by band list making new list and still cant get the downloads to increase. So proably will return it. It probably something in the way they have the band priority list or the carrier aggregation list set , which i cant seem to get access to yet.
For the performance differences between MR6150 and MR6550, I think you are using the same SIM card when you do the comparison.
Could you please help to capture the model.json files on the 2 devices with the same SIM card and send email to me at jopeng@netgaer.com? I will check what cause the performance differences. Please mention your community id in the email.
Thanks
