Are there any unlimited plans available right now for mobile routers?

So, obviously I can't get in on your grandfathered unlimited plan. I've tried looking for plans before I buy a router but I'm having trouble. The big sites have capped data plans, can't find any unlimited, no throttling definitely preferred, if any of you know of any.

 

Slightly related, would I be able to chuck any random 'ol working sim card in a mobile router, ones not data-only or not designed for mobile routers?

    As for using an existing SIM from a phone or other devices, it will depends on the plan. Some carriers may block using SIM card for phone on mobile hotspot. They may also have different APN settings.

    Where do you live?

     

    Netgear doesn't provide data services. You'll have to ask people who know your market.
