Band locking M6 MR6500
Greetings Netgear Community - Looking for assistance or another set of eyes on how to select/change added bands on the new M6 MR6500.
- M1 series - Web interface
- M5 series - Mobile app interface
- M6 series - Neither option is available (the mobile app omits the 'Bands' option under the Settings | Network | section
- [Why is that menu option now missing/hidden from this model? Can it be added back with a client update, or ... ?]
Adding custom band options through the CLI is/was straightforward in the same way as the M5 series - including retaining after reboots. However there is no UI to actually select the specific bands after they have been added to the band table. Note: setting the specific band(s) from the telnet session is an option, although very inconvenient when previous models offered a UI for on the fly changes.
Has anyone else experimented with, or encountered this with the M6 units?

Band locking will not be available on the M6 and is not recommended. Band locking can impact other users in your area and is also not recommended by ISP's.
