Can't setup AC1750 to work with MR1100

Have you tried running the R6350 in access point mode? Leave the MR1100 running in router mode with the R6350 just controlling wireless and ethernet?
Besides the setting the router in AP mode, good suggestion, you might ask question on this forum as it supports you cell modem.
