Changing the IP address range seems to break the iPhone Netgear Mobile Apps
Early in the install of the Nighthawk M2, the Netgear Mobile app works and finds the router. Once I change the IP Address range so it can participate with all the other devices, the router cannot be found by the App. It says, "Sorry, this Mobile Router is not supported, by the Nextgear Nobile App". Why is this so limited to the factory set IP range. This is so limiting.
This is such a simple but limiting 'feature' of the router. I am not the only one to want to change the IP address range for DHCP. It seems, once you do, you are unknown to the Router.

You have posted your message in the section of this community given over to Nighthawk WiFi Routers. (This is easily done, given Netgear's complicated community structure.)
Many questions apply to different types of device, so you might get responses here, but you might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your hardware, in the appropriate section for your device. That's probably here:
Mobile Routers, Hotspots & ModemsThese are specialist kit that doesn't share a lot of controls and features with standard Nighthawk WiFi Routers, hence its own bolt hole.
I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.- Blanca_ONETGEAR Employee Retired
Hi Mark_Spencer
Welcome to NETGEAR Community!
May I please know the IP address range?
What is the device SKU (e.g. MR2100-1TLAUS)?
Please provide the Mobile app version.
Can you still access the M2 settings page via Web browser?
Regards,
Blanca
