did you try a different charger?
does it run fine if powered by usb with the battery removed?

- So, it works with the battery out.
It seems to Charge better/quicker when I plug in the USB to USBC and original charge brick then press and hold the power off button. This then gives me the option to select off / charge. It then charges like a dream. If this is all I have to do, then awesome.
Tried with my USB C to USB C cable and new Anker 735 charger. Didn’t have the charge option and charged at about 5-10% in 24hrs. No good.
Anyone used this charger and would it only work if I used the USBA part of the Anker charger?- Similar experiences. Brand new MR6550 won't charge. Determined both the included cable and adapter are DOA, unit is charging properly on 5v 3a adapter and Anker cable.
I'm waiting on support to respond to my email.
