CM1000 / Xfinity - MacOS

I'm setting up my modem on MacOS and it does not display the expected "192.168.1.100" under "Router" - it displays a subnet related to the IP address assigned by my ISP.  Screenshot attached below...

If you're going directly from cm1000 to the mac, its the public ip address. not a private one. 

Usually it gets assigned to the router and then private ip addresses assigned to devices by the router. 

the modems address to access it should be 192.168.100.1 (fyi)

Thanks for the quick response. It briefly displayed the IP address you mentioned, then switched over to the IP assigned by the ISP. If this is normal behavior, nothing to see here :)
