Connected no internet mr1100 hotspot

My mr1100  hotspot only works in their store or under their tower. I turn it on I get one bar

MY device will connect but it says no internet available.

    Please make sure that network coverage is available in your area. 

     

    If the signal indicator is low then your mobile router's reception is poor. Try moving it to a location with a clear view of the sky (for example, near a window).

      I have moved this hot spot all over the house, the yard, and all over the county. It only works when I am within one mile of the at&t tower or in the store. I have finally given up on it. $240.00 for the router, $150.00 for at&t service and $40.00 for an external antenna. If I can't get it to work here it isn't going to work at a camp ground.
