Connecting a hard drive to a Nighhawk M2 MR2100

The MR2100 works with most USB-compliant external flash and hard drives. If the USB external hard drives and flash drives require you to load the drivers onto the computer before the computer can access the USB device then these USB devices do not work with the MR2100.
The MR2100 supports the following file system types for full read/write access: FAT16, FAT32, NTFS, HFS, and HFS+.
If the HDD does not work it could mean that the USB port of MR2100 is not supplying enough power so its recommended to use a drive with an external power source in that case or check with the HDD manufacturer about any updates to HDD firmware.

This doesn't appear to be the case. Both of the drives don't require drivers, both of them have been formatted correctly, so are there any drives you can recommend that definitely work?
