Connecting LB2120 LTE Modem to D7000 Nighthawk

Hi,

I'm trying to establish a working connection with the LB2120 LTE Modem connected to my D7000 Nighthawk. I thought it would be plug and play but it's not.

The LB2120 LTE Modem works fine when connected directly to a computer by supplying an internet connection to a PC directly over ethernet when plugged into its Yellow LAN port.

However when I plug it into the D7000 it doesn't register and seems to conflict with the routers settings with devices disappearing and reapearing across the network, this is the case whether I connect it to either the LAN or the single WAN/LAN ports.

I assumed that this was beacuse I was using the LB2120 in ROUTER mode and it was conflicting with the DHCP settings already in use with the D7000.

Since I don't want to lose the D7000 settings and want to keep it for managing the network I tried setting up the LB2120 as simply providing a connection to the internet through the router.

I've tried it in ROUTER mode with DHCP enabled and DHCP disabled and I've set it up in BRIDGE mode also and it doesn't seem to provide a connection to the internet when I unplug the ADSL line.

Is there another setting I need to change in the D7000's settings to get it to accept the internet via the LB2120 ?

A QUICK EDIT: I've altered the IP address of the LB2120 to be 192.168.0.3 so that it falls within the IP address range of the D7000. I'm no network expert, but the device wasn't visible across the network at all until I changed this. The D7000 seems to have a range from 192.168.0.2 - 192.168.0.254 and the default IP for the LB2120  was 192.168.5.1 so I couldn't connect to it at all aside from a direct cabled connection to a PC where I changed the IP and plugged it back into the D7000
