Data Offloading not working properly
Data Offloading works fine with WiFi only, but once I connect a computer to the ethernet port, the WiFi Data Offloading stops working while Data Offloading continues to work fine on the computer conn...
To make this issue more clear...
When I have 3 devices connected to the Nighthawk M1 Mobile Router over WiFi and nothing connected to the ethernet port, Data Offloading works fine over WiFi. Once I connect a device to the ethernet port, the device connected to the ethernet port is able to connect to the Internet over the Data Offloading, but the 3 orginal devices can not. If I delete the WiFi from the "PREFERRED NETWORKS" list forcing the data to go over 4G, then all the devices can access the Internet. Also, if I remove the device from the ethernet port on the Nighthawk M1 Mobile Router then all the other devices are able to connect to the Internet.
I have a brand new MR1100 with the latest firmware installed.
Firmware Version: NTG9X50C_12.06.11.00
Firmware Build Date: 2020/01/24
I did some more experimenting and it looks like the problem is with port forwarding. Now that I've disabled port forwarding, things appear to be functioning correctly.
The problem is, I will be needing port forwarding.
