Data usage info

Hi,

I have a a Netgear Nighthawk mobile router which was supplied by EE with a data only sim.

However the router's display is giving me incorrect information about the amount of data used and the number of days left until it resets.

Is there any way of changing when the data usage period starts from and the allowance? It can't possibly know what EE's billing period is.

I've looked through the router settings and can't seem to find anything.

I also spoke to EE as they supplied the router. She said she knew it could be done she had no idea how. Big help!

Can anybody advise?

  • hello brian, ive got one from o2 here in the uk and i got the data usage set up no problem on mine, i will explain how to do it but as yours is from EE your menu's may be different from mine.i done this using an iphone x

    login to the netgear app on your mobile phone, once its showing up the the data usage page and wifi information swipe down so it brings up the menu, click data usage then once in this menu you can click on each item as you require for instance click data limit and add how much data you get off EE each month then click your billing cycle then what date your data usage starts, you can even select if you need alerts when your starting to run out of data. hope this helps.
