Double NAT Error with Nighthawk M1 MR1100
Hello, everyone. I'm really hoping that someone can help my husband & I figure out what is going on with our hotspot. We are truck drivers and recently purchased an MR1100 hotspot w/ AT&T connection to have in our truck, so that we can use our electronics on the go. We've done this previously with other mobile hotspot devices & had great success.
The first day or two that we used our hotspot, the service was great. Internet worked flawlessly for the Xbox, cell phones, and laptop. On day three, when looking at our connection settings on Xbox Live, we found that we now have a strict, double NAT type.
We have been to what feels like all ends of the internet in order to find an answer. I've attempted every type of port forwarding, hard reset on both hotspot and xbox, established a DMZ, set up a static IP address, set up alternate ports, and plenty more troubleshooting. We can't figure out what happened or where we went wrong. We're hoping somebody may have answers, because we're running out of options. All help is appreciated. Thank you.

Are you using the MR1100 on its own and latching on to the wifi? Or do you have some other hardware in the truck?
Ok so i had a number of issues settiing up this router but i can now say i have it up and running without issue i had an issue where it wouldnt connect to xbox claiming it had a static ip adress then it claimed a double nat after a few days of messing around with the settings i changed my apn and now its running an open nat in my case i had my apn set to the 3 network i have just switched it to 3 internet and that is what fixed the problem if youre expieriencing a double nat it stands to reason its probably the same problem try re scanning for apns and double check to see if theres an internet specific apn for your selcted network.
also im not sure if this had any effect or not but i also deleted the pre installed apn as its not in use i hope this helps because if it doesnt youre probably out of luck otherwise.

out of luck otherwise- Can you explain a bit more what you mean by 3 network and 3 Internet on the apn? Perhaps a screenshot or further details about who your ISP is ?
Some cellular providers only provide you a private IP (such as 10.x.x.x). You do not have access to port forwarding on their end.
This can depend on the mobile provider, which APN is used, and even whether IP4 or IP6 is being used.
