Ethernet / Connected Device Limitations NightHawl Mobile Router?

We're moving to a rural location in the near future and I'd like to use solutions that would include Nighthawk mobile routers.

 

If I connect the Nighthawk to seperate External LAN router via ethernet and disable the wireless on the Nighthawk. Is the number of connected devices then only limited by the External LAN router?

    Yes. Your understanding is correct! The number of WiFi clients is only limited to Nighthawk WiFi connections.
