Firmware update 1.0.0.44 Fails

An onscreen prompt appears advising "A router firmware upgrade is available".   Attempting to update the firmware from Netgear server continually results in: "Downloading and updating the language...

I too am having this issue and have been for several months. Fails to install the language file from the new firmware 1.0.0.44_1.0.60 via auto update. I am unable to do a manual update as the Firmware for these smart cradles are nowhere to be found for download.

    Hello Blanca,

     

    Yes the update worked successfully and I am now at V1.0.042_1.0.60

      Hi, All, 

       

      I have raised this issue several times to our engineering team. There are only few users who managed to get the firmware updated but majority are still having issue. And this is being investigated. We are now considering of posting the firmware on our support site. You may also send me a private message with the device SKU (DC112A-xxx) and I'll check with them if I can provide the firmware.

    Still have a message saying “Firmware update available”, but when I check for updates it says “No update available”

    Hardware Version

    DC112A  V1.0

     

    Firmware Version

    V1.0.0.42_1.0.60

     

    GUI Language Version

    V1.0.0.42_2.1.38.3

    I have a DC112A-100NAS and it still fails to do the firmware update. Any fix for it?

      Engineering team provided the list of latest FW for DC112A: 
       
      DC112A-1TLAUS Latest FW is 1.0.0.42
      DC112A-100EUS, DC112A-100NAS is 1.0.0.44
      DC112A-1RDMES and DC112A-2RDMES for Oreedoo Latest FW is 1.0.0.42
      DC112A-1Z1MES for Zain Latest FW is 1.0.0.42 

       

      Kindly check again if you already have the latest firmware.

        Bianca, I think you've missed the actual point.  Its not that we don't know the latest firmware revision for our devices, it is that the router itself is telling us there is an update and the update fails to load at the language table and cannot proceed.

         

        Netgear can do better than this.
