Firmware Version NTG9X40C_11.14.08.12

Aircard 810S (Telstra) intermittent problem after firmware update to version NTG9X40C_11.14.08.12 build date 2016/09/14.

Works for several hours then browser or ping unable to resolve host (no DNS).

Device status looks normal ie connected, 5 bars, RSRP -80dBa, ip address ok, etc.

Solution is turn device off/on - done through browser by changing upper limit of DHCP IP Range as I can't find "restart".

I haven't tried ping with a numerical ip address while problem exists.

Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a solution?

Is there a way back to previous firmware?

    Hello epicycler

You would have to contact Telstra about this they may be able to get you a older firmware.

      thanks Darren,

guess what Telstra said before I posted here ......

I trust the issue has been forwarded to the appropriate Netgear department - if you don't tell them they won't know.
