forced automatic updates are bad
forced automatic updates are bad.
i noticed mr1100-100eus rebooting just by itself, and it was automatic update. this is just plain wrong. netgear has become overbearing towards users. dispespecting user's control totally.
is there method to remove automatic forced updates?
i already had some doubts about netgear quality, but after this one, netjunkgear goes to the dark list. very likely i'm not going to buy yet another second class product from netjunkgear unless quality and user's control are increased. i also bought mr2100, which feels second class product already. probably mr2100 has forced updates as well. is it general policy by netjunkgear to force reboots onto users?

The recent upgrade is mainly to address the WiFi security issue discussed in the link below.
That is why we would like to get alll the devices updated to the new release.
Thanks for your understanding.
