Hello I have and Nighthawk M1 4G and would like to update to a M2 5G

Hello, I have a Nighthawk M1 for use in Kuwait. I would like to move to an M5 (5G), but also need to be able to use it in the United States. I know that the M1 had different channels for different countries. Does the same hold true for the M5? If so is there a model that would work in both countries? Thanks for all your input!
