How to get MR6500 to connect to smart tv- doesn't show up when scanned for networks
Recently upgraded to MR6500 and tried to get it to connect to my TV but cannot get it to do so. I try to scan for networks and the neighbours show up but not mine.

Have you enabled the 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network? Your TV may not recognize the 5Ghz network.

Best thought of the other way round.
The MR6500 does not connect to the TV. The TV connects to the MR6500.
As JT240Z says, TVs often see only 2.4 GHz. You probably need to enable dual-band WiFi.
