How to unlock Nighthawk M1

Trying to setup device, need to locate the unlock code, how and where do I find this? All help will be appreciated, thank you?   Kind regards Wayne.

NETGEAR cannot provide you with an MEP / unlock code. To obtain the NETGEAR AirCard modem’s MEP / unlock code, please contact the service provider that sold you the NETGEAR AirCard modem.
