I'm using the Nighthawk MR1100 for gaming and am having bad lagging issues
Can someone please tell me why i can't change my NAT TYPE on my PS5 after port forwarding on the router? It's taking the enjoyment out of the game for me
did you try putting the PS5's ip address into the MR1100's DMZ?
Then go into the PS5 and see if you can change it.
Thank you for taking the time to reply. I just tried but it still says i have a NAT TYPE 3/Strict. Any other options?
Who's your hotspot provider?
Some have carrier grade nat that sets the nat level.
Did you try using a different dns provider?
I have AT&T 100g a month plan. I did try a different DNS setting . I usually use 8.8.8.8 Google - But i also tried the 1.1.1.1 Cloudlet DNS. Does changing the subnet mask make a difference? If my provider restricts my NAT TYPE can i ask them to assign me a stable ip address? Thank you again for your time.
