Internet Greyed Out
I have a new router I can access the internet but I cannot change or configure the router as Internet is grayed out. I have done a factory reset but it hasn’t worked

May we please know the exact model of your NETGEAR device? What do you mean "Internet is grayed out"? Are you referring to the NETGEAR router page? Have you tried using different browser or device?

It’s a WNR2000v5 and I have tried it on my iPad and iPhone and I have tried the genie app which will not let me login at all. I have rebooted, I have factory reset, I have cleared my cache. I have a much older router at a different location so don’t have the model but it has the two antennas and I have never had a problem. This new router is just out of the box

Maeve - maeveAug 28, 2018AspirantTo update I have now tried the router on my laptop too on Firefox it remains greeted out. Can you come back to me please if I cannot access the Internet area the router is useless to me and will have to go back and I won’t buy netgear again

It's saying "no internet", but it's connected and allowing WiFi traffic. I suspect I need to change the MAC address but I can't do this until I can access the internet settings.
