internet much slower while docked in a Netgear Aircard Smart Cradle (DC112A)
<Disclaimer I am in a rural area so interent speeds are lower than in the city>
I have a Netgear Unite Explore hotspot device (AirCard 815S) and Netgear Aircard Smart Cradle (DC112A) also a Netgear 6000450 MIMO external Antena. I get 3-5mbs down, 1mbs up while docked in the cradle. If I use the Unite Explore hotpot device with the external antena I get 14mbs down and between 2 and 5mbs up .... the devices are in the exact same spot in the house right next to the window. I have pain stakenly tested this over and over and over (did I say over?) again. Does anyone have a solution for this? As of right now I bought a $200+ boat anchor -- Firmware is V1.0.0.20_1.0.60 on the cradle and is NTG9X40C_11.14.08.28 for the Unite Explore (according to the interwebs and the devices they are the latest)

I wanted to confirm that you guys have done a factory reset and that the firmware on your DC112A is up-to-date with the most current version.
Please let me know if this worked. :]

hey Jason one of the first things I did was check for udated firmeware and did a factory reset which resulted in no change in performance -- I susspect the unit is faulty
