Internet much slower while docked in a Netgear Aircard Smart Cradle (DC112A)

This topic has been covered before but doesn't seem to have been addressed by Netgear. I experience a much reduced download speed when connected to the DC112A cradle. I have updated the firmware but still the same. Connecting outside the cradle will give me in excess of 60 Mbps. Connected to the cradle as low as 1.5 Mbps. This does not cut !! I have even contacted the service provider (SFR) as I suspected it might be a problem with their network. They confirmed there is nothing abnormal with their network. Searching for a solution if anyone can help please.
