Iphone connect and droid connect

We have signed into our wifi and our phones say that it is connected but, when we go to use the internet on our phones it says we cannot connect to server.  It worked before we bought a new net gear.  Our last netgear was not passcoded.  Also, our phones connect to the wifi everywhere else just fine.

    Thank you go posting in the community. I just wanted to check if your C6300|AC1750 Cable Modem Router is up-to-date with the most current firmware? If so, have you done a factory reset on your device?
