Issues with Product Packaging and Quality Assurance

There are many issues with your product M6 Nighthawk in terms of packaging and quality assurance.

I purchased two products from Amazon and eBay, but I could not receive the correct items.

Firstly, the product I ordered from eBay was labeled as open-box MR6550-100PAS. The box says MR6550, but inside was a MR6500 AT&T model. These products look similar, and there isn’t an easy way to differentiate them, leading many people to swap out the cheaper MR6500 and return it. The product inside does not match the box.

Secondly, I ordered a MR6450-100EUS from Amazon, expecting a brand-new product. However, I received an open-box item. Although it contained the MR6450, it was essentially a brick that wouldn't turn on. It seems like someone returned a broken item, and it was sent to me.

Despite the inconvenience of having to visit the post office multiple times to make returns, I plan to order from Amazon one last time. If I receive the wrong product again, I will cancel my purchase. Despite paying a price that exceeds the average 5G smartphone, having this experience is very displeasing.

I suggest you add a seal label to the outermost box and make the model name more visible on the product. I chose your product because there weren't alternatives to Chinese 5G routers, but it wasn't a pleasant experience. Some Amazon reviews even state that they received the wrong product on all three orders.

  • Buying from Amazon or eBay is always a crap shoot.  They are not authorized sales facilities for Netgear products.
