LAX-20 disconnects when using certain websites and apps
Hello, so I am having some issues with my lax20. I'm on the second one now because netgear said the first one was defective. I only have a sim card installed with no ethernet connections. I'm using a new Verizon sim card that Verizon gave me because they thought that was the issue when I was troubleshooting it at the store the other day. It didn't solve the issue. When I turn the router on it will connect to the Verizon network and it will stay connected until I start using it. I have changed almost every setting possible in the router while talking with netgear and Verizon and nothing has worked so far. I have caught onto some events though that will cause a disconnection but I'm not sure how to go about fixing them. The first thing I noticed was if I search for ebay, the ebay site will load with no problems. I can search for items, click on them and open pictures but, when I click on the "sign in" or the "my watchlist" buttons, the router disconnects and all devices connected to it lose internet connection. This is on a windows laptop using either chrome or Microsoft edge. I also have two Samsung phones. One is a note 10 and the other is a note 8. Both phones, when connected, will cause the router to disconnect as soon as I open any weather apps, ebay, pandora, my bank app, and others. I have booted them into safemode and the issue still occurs. It doesn’t matter if the only device connected is my laptop or either of my phones. The problem has been exactly the same with both routers. When I open the router admin page, it shows that the router is still connected to the verizon network. The status light on the router itself is still green. The router is also still connected to my devices but none of them have internet access. I have to restart the router in order for the devices to regain access to the internet but as soon as any of the events above happen, it disconnects again. It have tried different firmware versions and it does the same thing. I'm not sure what else to change because there are so many different things that cause it to disconnect. If anybody has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.
